How to claim SEFI Airdrop / Genesis on SecretSwap built on Secret Network
In this tutorial, we will walk you through the following:
(1) Prerequisites
(2) Navigate to the SecretSwap SEFI page
(3) Claim SEFI
(4) Create a viewing key to view your clamed SEFI
Note that SecretSwap and the entire network are under lots of duress, so different users will have different UX experiences. This tutorial is aimed at representing a clean, error free, walkthrough.
(1) Prerequisites
(1) It is imperative that you have a Keplr wallet available. If you need to create a Keplr wallet, you can use the following link.
(2) This tutorial assumes that you were included in the SEFI snapshots that were taken between the first blog post announcing SEFI and the actually launch of SEFI
(3) You have enough $SCRT in your wallet to be able to complete multiple transactions / contract interactions. 1–2 SCRT should be plenty depending on how fast you want transactions to execute.
(2) Navigate to the SecretSwap SEFI page
Navigate to secretswap.io SEFI page. You will be greeted with following view as your Keplr wallet connects with the page.
(3) Claim SEFI
Now, click on the “Claim Genesis” button as shown in the picture above.
You will be greeted with the following page:
Note, the SEFI amount to be claimed in this tutorial is a microscopic number, such that it appears to be 0 via the UI, when it is in fact not
Go ahead and click on the “Claim” button. A Keplr transaction will pop-up, select your gas amount and click “Approve”.
Wait for the “transaction successful” before moving onto the next step. You can check to see if your transaction went through successful by looking up your Keplr wallet address using secretnodes explorer.
(4) Create a viewing key to view your clamed SEFI
Next, open up your Keplr wallet and click on the hamburger menu:
Click on the “Add Token” option from the dropdown:
Enter in the following official SEFI contract address and click “Submit”:

After hitting submit, and selecting an appropriate gas price, click “Approve”.
First, Keplr will notify you “transaction is pending”. A couple of seconds later, you should get “transaction successful.” Congratulations, open up your Keplr wallet. Scroll down in the wallet to see your Secret Token balances. Your genesis/aidropped SEFI you claimed are now visible in your Keplr wallet!
Congratulations, you have successfully claimed your SEFI!
